We should be in our new house by now, but everyone keeps telling me "Soon". Well "Soon"I'm going to lose my ever-loving mind if things don't start to happen.
My mind has been whirling with what colors I want to paint where and I know on top of moving all our household stuff, I have to move my whole business first, before making my new house mine. That part kind of sucks donkey balls. My ADD can only handle so much.
I feel bad for the kids having to put up with the house all a mess right now and Mama acting like a crazy, hopefully it doesn't last long and they forget about it in the future.
I decided today that I want cream on white in my kitchen. Who knows how many times I will change my mind from now until then.
Night seems to be the only time I get anything done lately that is just "me" stuff, last night I went outside because it was nice and the sky had me coming back in to grab my camera. Here are a couple shots of the moon. I was trying some longer exposures, clearly I need more practice.

Looking crafty
I came across the most awesome blog today, figured I'd share. I can't wait to get moved into our new house and hopefully set up a little area for crafting again. I really miss it when I look at all the cool projects! http://bkids.typepad.com/intro/2010/06/index.html

Mom Rocks
We hit up the playground today and then wandered to the pizza shop for dinner where they have one of those games with the claw/grabber hand. Jocie gave her all 4 times and then it was Mama's turn, 2nd try I snagged a hippo stuffed animal and became my Jocie's superhero for the day! Sadly little brother really loved the hippo and started freaking out about not having it, so in went another quarter and out came a pink bug!! Woot!!
We got our food and started walking home and we both got to see this bright shooting star!! It was Jocie's first time seeing one so you can imagine the excitement, being 6 and all. Honestly it was the first time I've ever seen one during the day.
So pizza + stuffed animals + shooting stars =s MAJOR superhero <3

Power outage
So last night we had just got Bray in his crib, Jocie was upstairs playing in her room and we hear this huge BANG followed by the power flickering a few times, then going off. Come to find out a transformer thing blew up. In the meantime we had to entertain ourselves with a game of trouble :) Jocie kicked out butts, which made her night.
She was first to get her little marker into the safe zone.
So excited about sending me back to home, she went googley eyed!

Some days are better then others
Hopefully I will get the "other" part tomorrow, because today wasn't so great. Took the kids out to play because the one thing that was nice, was the weather today. Of course Bray seems to really like going to the road...
and he really hates being told "No" and being picked up and brought back toward the house. Today it resulted in a full out fit where he threw himself on the ground, once he was over the fit part I bent down to help him back up, and my camera slid from my back/side all the way around smashing him the face right above his little eye, leaving a nice gash. So yep, I will remove my name for the award of Best Mama Photographer. Better luck next year I guess.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies
First let me say that these we're super easy and ohhh so yummy!! I will be making these again for sure!!
Okay you will need:
An oven :) set to 350
1 package of brownie mix
1 package of choc chip cookie mix
3 eggs
1 stick of soft butter (don't melt)
1/2 cup of oil
1/4 cup of water
package of Chocolate chips
1-2 tablespoons of crisco
Follow directions on the mixes keeping each in their own bowl
Taste test the cookie dough at this point to make sure it tastes good :)
Pour the brownie mix into a 9x13 pan
Spoon the dough onto of the brownie mix
Until it looks something like this
Lick the spoons and bowls at this point (sorry no pictures, I couldn't do both) and put in the 350 degree preheated oven for 35 minutes.
Take out and let cool while you make the chocolate frosting.
I use a 2 pans and double boil. Filling the bottom one with about an inch of water and then adding the bag of chocolate chips in the top (dry) sauce pan and about a table spoon of crisco. Then stir stir stir, don't stop stirring! You don't want your chocolate to burn. After about 5 minutes it's normally all melted down looking something like this
Now dump it on the top of the cookie/brownies and spread it out even. Don't forget to lick the chocolate off the spoon again, this will be your last chance.
Let cool and enjoy. I couldn't wait long enough for mine to cool all the way, but it was so good all warm!! Well worth the mess I made trying to get it out of the pan.

Somebody loves his Sissy
Everyday at 2:55pm you can find Bray standing at the door looking out and waiting for Jocie to get home. It really sucks when the bus is late because he starts to freak out a little bit, but, it's still the cutest thing. I'm sure in a couple of years they will hate each other like the other 3 all seem to. So for now I try to enjoy the little bits and pieces of sweetness that pop up.
Yay she is home! No wonder he loves her so much, she gives it right back to him. At least until she is in the door and he starts to get in her way ;)

Almost 14
I don't think it's hit me yet that I have a 13 year old, let alone an almost 14 year old! Where does the freaking time go?
Anyhoo people probably think I don't really have older kids because I never post pictures of them. They really hate it and the only place to find Austin is geeking out on the x-box in his room. So that's where me and the camera went for a visit. Clearly pnwing people is way more cool then Mom.

Rainy Day
“One thing a mother must always save for a rainy day is patience”
Came across this quote and it's so fitting! Bray is going crazy being stuck inside. We got a little taste of Spring and now he wants outside and I can't blame him.
Tried to cheer him up with a little Batman, if only this batman looked like Christian Bale :)
